4. Why We Are Permitted to Process It

To perform a contract — processing is necessary to deliver the services you have engaged us for.

To meet legal obligations — we are required to retain certain records to satisfy applicable tax, accounting, and business-record requirements.

Legitimate business interests — responding to pre-engagement enquiries, maintaining business records, and securing our website.

5. Data Retention

Client and engagement records are retained for up to seven (7) years following the end of an engagement, in line with applicable federal and state tax and business-record requirements. Enquiry data from contacts that do not result in an engagement is retained for no longer than twelve (12) months. After the applicable retention period, information is securely and permanently deleted.

6. Third Parties

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share it only where:

• Required by law, regulation, subpoena, or other legal process
• Strictly necessary to deliver the agreed services (for example, cloud storage, payment processing, or communications providers)

Clients and contacts in the United Kingdom or the European Economic Area additionally have rights under the UK GDPR and EU GDPR, including the right to object to processing and the right to lodge a complaint with their local supervisory authority.
